Rowena Robinson, professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, has focused her research on the sociology of religion and kinship, conversion, and Christianity in India. She is the author of Boundaries of Religion: Essays on Christianity, ethnic conflict and violence (New Delhi: Oxford University Press, 2013); and Christians of India, (New Delhi: Sage Publications, 2003). She is co-editor of Margins of Faith: Dalit and Tribal Christianity in India (New Delhi: Sage Publications, 2010) and Religious Conversion in India: Modes, Motivations and Meanings (New Delhi: Oxford University Press, 2007).
