Sarah Stanbury is a professor of English and the Monsignor Murray Professor of the Arts and Humanities at the College of the Holy Cross. Her research has focused on Chaucer and late medieval literature, and medieval visual culture. With cultural landscape photographer Margot Balboni, she began studying the Italian presepe in 2011. The two are curators of "The Italian Presepe: Cultural Landscapes of the Soul."
